Amanda Meisel, CNM

Biography

Amanda Meisel has been a certified nurse-midwife since graduating from East Carolina University in 2013. Prior to this, she served her community in Sanford, NC for 20 years as a labor and delivery nurse. During her 10 years of practice as a CNM, she has delivered over 1,000 babies, each and every one she considers to be blessed to have been a part of.  She is passionate about providing care to women and families across the lifespan and enjoys working with the multi-disciplinary team at NC OBGYN  & Midwifery in Holly Springs. She has an enthusiasm for growth, loves educating women, and is a great teacher to many including midwifery students for the past 9 years.  When Amanda is not working, she enjoys camping, hiking, and working on her mini farm with the garden, goats, chickens and dogs! Family time is important; she loves spending time with her husband, her 3 children and sweet grandbaby boy that she delivered in 2020.  Amanda is honored to work with and provide care to those in her community and is excited to continue forming long-lasting relationships with women and families in North Carolina!
